Children of Men (2006)
Love, depravity and humanity.
Presentation:
Emmanuel Lubezki's legendary handheld camera work combined with Alfonso Cuaron's chaotic vision of an infertile world give us a gritty dystopian twilight zone. Dark, moody and filmic visuals with some impressively immersive sets.
Conclusion:
This film almost serves as a though experiment, βwhat if?β Admist the chaos and horrors of war, you have a triumphant and significant scene that puts everything into perspective. But whether the immersive action scenes are enough to make the rest of the detached script worth watching will be up to you.

War isnβt about whoβs right, rather whoβs left.
