A compelling story even for those that don't care about baseball.

Presentation:

The film has pretty standard cinematography and focuses on the true story of how statistics were implemented in baseball drafting. It kinda has a similar vibe as Jerry McGuire with less of the heart and a more neutral grounded reality. Jona Hill begins to demonstrate his range and Brad Pitt plays a very cool anchor to bring the story home.

Conclusion:

An underdog story with not too much flashiness, but could still be a homerun for those that care more about the behind the scenes of competitive sports.
