The most seductive modern bond film.

Presentation:

Stylish, witty, seductive, everything you want from a bond film. Daniel Craig is charming and Eva Green is irresistible, so much that the future series rightly use this film as the source material for emotional conflict. Although the cinematography isn't as impressive, the chemistry, atmosphere and setting are the most alluring and intimate of the series. Mads Mikkelson is probably one of the more memorable villains. The poker scene is pretty iconic despite being a bit dramatized.

Conclusion:

This is my pick for the bond film to watch, which is surprising considering it doesn't have some of the better cinematography from future sequels by Hoytema or Deakins. A truly seductive spy film rooted in a believable universe, not over the top but riveting conflicts. It's far less complex than future plots, but more sexy as a result.
