The Princess Bride (1987)

Saving the princess is always a feel-good fairy tale.

Presentation:

The Princess bride is a light family friendly flick for all ages that is one of the most fun feel good movies set in the medieval era. Itโ€™s visually and tonally comparable to Steven Spielberg epics like Raiders of the Lost ark blending humor and sword dueling action with appropriate balance.

Conclusion:

In 2024 this save the princess fairy tale feels outdated but could still be a film that youโ€™ll enjoy watching by yourself. For the serious cinema enjoyers it might feel cliche because itโ€™s not really ashamed or pretending to be anything bigger. If you like Indian Jones style epics, this adventure is one you wouldnโ€™t mind watching again and again, even if itโ€™s associated with cable TV.
