The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011)
This is what a girlboss should be.
Presentation:
David Fincher demonstrates his classic style. Clean, dark omniscient cinematography. Based on the Swedish Novel, you have a natural and believably powerful female lead. Rooney Mara is unrecognizable and magnetic in a well paced and rewarding script.
Conclusion:
This is one of the more memorable modern Fincher films with action and sleuth that are complemented by signature precise camera movement. The film has a few arcs and can get a bit rushed toward the end, but overall an exemplary modern thriller film.

If there was ever the case for why classic films are more cinematic.
